Important information regarding September Transfers:
Please note that the application window for September Transfers closes on 6 August at 4pm and that we will NOT be able to accept anymore applications after this time.
If you have already applied, or intend to apply, for a September Transfer then please also note that the Student Transfer Team will not start trying to source vacancies until AFTER the deadline period has closed; so please do not email the team asking for updates before this time. The team will proactively contact you if and when a vacancy has been secured.

We understand that it can be a tricky to balance work with your college and university life, which is why we’ve set up Students At Tesco.
The Students At Tesco website is an internal-only club for our student employees and membership is FREE!

Our small but dedicated Student Transfer Team will do their very best to find you a vacancy near to your university or home* so that you can keep earning both during term time and the holidays.
How does it work?
- Register to become a member of the Students At Tesco website by clicking below.
- Apply for a term-time or holiday period transfer via the Students At Tesco website. There are four transfer periods per year (Easter, Summer, September and Christmas) and posters will be placed in all stores informing you of when the application window opens (and closes!).

Applying via the Student Transfer Service does not guarantee that your transfer request(s) will be successful. If you are unsuccessful for whatever reason in your transfer request(s), the Student Transfer Team will inform you of the various options available to ensure you maintain continuous employment with Tesco (please note that any available options will be at your current stores discretion and as with transfer requests, not guaranteed).

You must apply for a student transfer via the Students At Tesco website and within the application window period shown on the poster(s) displayed in store. Any requests received outside of the Student Transfer process and/or application window will not be accepted by the Student Transfer Team.

The Student Transfer process is for temporary transfers only. The Student Transfer Team does not deal with requests for permanent transfers. To request/arrange a permanent transfer please speak with your current Personnel Manager.
